In addition to being the 200th Anniversary of Maine’s statehood, the year 2020 marks the 100th Anniversary of the ratification of the Nineteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution, which gave Women the Right to Vote!
Because it is the Centennial Anniversary of Women’s Right to Vote, we ask you to join us as we formally acknowledge and recognize the many contributions of women in celebration of the Centennial of Women’s Suffrage.
You can give $5,000 in your own name, or in honor of or in memory of a woman you have admired. Men are likewise invited to make a gift of $5,000 in honor of a woman.
What better way to recognize someone you love and admire while contributing to this free community event (food not included) for all to enjoy.
The woman’s name will be listed as identified in your gift, and these names will be honored and recognized through the festivities by having the names posted on the Castine Bicentennial website and the Castine Bicentennial Celebration Program.
